Learn MoreThe Clark Cawthra Coneybeare Foundation has been a cornerstone of charitable work in Toronto for over two decades — investing in education, empowering youth, and creating pathways to a more equitable Ontario.
The Clark Cawthra Coneybeare Foundation exists to improve the quality of life for individuals and families across Toronto and Ontario by funding and delivering programs rooted in education, social equity, and community resilience.
We believe that every person — regardless of background, circumstance, or postal code — deserves access to the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to reach their full potential. Our mission is to dismantle barriers and build lasting bridges toward a more just and inclusive society.
As stewards of the generosity left by the founding families, we honour their legacy by directing our resources where they can generate the greatest, most enduring community impact.
Read Our Full MissionWe envision a Toronto — and an Ontario — where every child grows up with equal access to quality education, every young adult has the support to pursue their ambitions, and every family can participate fully in the social and economic life of their community.
By 2030, the Clark Cawthra Coneybeare Foundation aims to have directly touched the lives of 50,000 Ontarians through targeted programs, strategic grants, and collaborative partnerships with schools, community organizations, and government agencies.
Our vision is not simply a better future — it is an achievable one, built together through the consistent application of compassion, expertise, and resources.

The Clark Cawthra Coneybeare Foundation was established in memory of three families whose contributions to Toronto's civic and philanthropic life spanned generations. United by a shared belief in community responsibility, the founders created this organization to ensure their values would endure and grow.
Today, we carry forward that legacy with a modern, evidence-based approach to charitable giving — partnering with local organizations, schools, health agencies, and government bodies to deploy resources where they matter most.
Our board and staff bring decades of combined experience in education, social services, and nonprofit governance, ensuring every initiative we undertake is both impactful and accountable.
